Westgate Shopping Centre

The Westgate Shopping Centre opened for business on 1st October 2015. The project was managed by Fletcher Construction and built by Dominion Constructors. Grouting Services was engaged as a specialist to design and construct the post-tensioning works to the elevated slab. Edge Consulting provided the specialist design works and at the recent New Zealand Concrete Industry Conference 2015 in Rotorua, David Sharp and Tim Peters were pleased to present a paper on the design and construction of the suspended post-tensioned slab.
