Victory Christian Church

This project involved construction of a new 434-space car park building on four sub-grade levels, covering an area of approximately 100m x 40m. Prior to becoming a church, the property was an old gasworks. Major excavation of contaminated soil and buried concrete structures had to be completed before construction of the underground car park could begin.

Grouting Services was awarded the subcontract for the ground anchors that formed part of the retention system. A total of 60No multi-strand ground anchors (temporary and permanent) were installed. Our specialist anchoring rig (HD180) made easy work of drilling through the old steel and concrete foundations encountered throughout the site.
