Yashili Dryer Building

The grouting of precast panels at the new Yashili Plant in Pokeno required an experienced team to install drypack and grout drossbach ducts on finished wall surfaces. Working around other trades is second nature to the team, who often worked from scissor lifts and temporary scaffold towers.

Grouting Services was awarded the subcontract works in February 2014. The new dryer building contains a 36 metre tall tower along with an integrated evaporator hall and stair with lift shaft. The new plant will employ around 120 staff and produce 52,000 tonnes of infant formula per year for export.
