Countdown Bridge St

Hamilton's Bridge St 42-year-old supermarket has closed and construction is well underway for its metamorphosis into a new generation Countdown supermarket. The new Countdown Bridge Street project is located on the corner of Bridge Street and Anglesea Street in Hamilton. The project consists of a 4,000 m2 supermarket comprising a 3,200 m2 suspended post tensioned floor structure above a basement car park, and, an adjoining 800 m2 post tensioned slab on grade.

Grouting Services was awarded subcontract for the supply and installation of the post-tensioning works required for the 4,000sq.m development. The work was completed in 3pours and involved some 20T of prestressing strand.
