New World Wanaka PT Slab on Grade

The photos below show a project completed during 2019 in Wanaka which involved a 2,500sq.m post-tensioned floor slab for a New World supermarket. The 150mm slab was designed to accommodate 35kN back to back racking on a sub grade CBR3%. It was particularly pleasing to see the finished result given the challenges in dealing with multiple re-entrant corners and a very large number of penetrations through the floor.
