Grouting Services is pleased to be supporting Fletcher Construction on the Engineering, Technology and Design Building at the AUT University City Campus. To facilitate demolition works, temporary ground retention of existing walls was required until adjoining structural elements could be strengthened and this involved 73No. multi-strand anchors, high-pressure post-grouted into the weathered Waitematas. Corrugated sheathing was required to provide for an extended design life and lift-off tests were required on 3No. anchors, 3 months after completion for load verification.
