Project 3: Haywards Hill Power Station Slope Protection Circa 1989
Slope protection works at The Haywards Hill Power Station in Wellington included an innovative use of anchor blocks and tie backs drilled into the rock to retain the slope. Inclined bored drains were also installed to provide pore water pressure relief.
Grouting Services mobilised a crew from Auckland to carry out the works.
