Watawa Retaining Wall Anchors

Grouting Services is proud to have teamed up with ICB Retaining & Construction to deliver the anchoring works for new 60m long retaining wall on the access road to the Waitawa Regional Park. The ground anchoring works included 26No x 9-17m long galvanised reid bar anchors installed in a 150mm hole. Each anchor was secured to the new timber poles with a discrete back-back waler. All anchors were acceptance tested. Prior to the production works commencing, a full scale proving trial anchor was installed and tested to verify the grout-grout geotechnical ultimate bond rupture.
