Rototuna Reservoir PT Slab

Grouting Services is proud to support Hawkins by providing design and construct services on the new Rototuna Reservoir. The base slab is over 4000sq.m and is 250mm thick with a 700mm deep edge thickening to pick up the overturning moment from the concrete walls under a seismic event. Post-tensioning and reinforcement quantities approximate 35T and 80T respectively. The in-situ walls have nominal PT in the longitudinal direction for strain compatibility. Grouting Services engaged EDGE consulting to complete the PT design, documentation and construction monitoring (PS1 and PS4).
